Crypto Losses Totaled $1.53B in February, Led by Bybit Hack
Crypto losses reached $1.53 billion in February, with the biggest exploit being the hack of Bybit, attributed to North Korea’s Lazarus Group. Out of the total loss, Bybit hack siphoned $1.4 billion, making it the largest crypto hack ever. According to Certik, this represents a nearly 1,500% increase from the $98 million in losses reported in January.
Ethereum Bulls Confident, New AI Coin Becomes Top Pick
Ethereum bulls have been resilient recently, rebounding strongly after a sharp decline caused by the Bybit hack. Despite this resilience and the influence of whales, AI investors and crypto whales are shifting towards a new high-growth potential coin. FloppyPepe (FPPE) is a new entrant in the crypto world, inspired by Matt Furie-memecoins. This AI coin combines Pepe’s charm with a mysterious fortune-teller hippo theme. FloppyPepe is developing an ecosystem supported by advanced AI meme-making tools, and early investors stand to benefit as tokens are currently priced at $0.0000002.
